Here I want to share with you few words about life coaching in an informal way.

Life Coaching is my passion, and profession.

 

Coaching is not a new invention. I believe that coaching is as old as mankind. It is within each and every person. It is so natural to the extent that you might not notice it. You coach yourself most of the time without knowing. Sometimes you succeed, and sometimes you don't. May be you don't know the rules or some specific techniques as we call them today, but that doesn't mean that you didn't experience self-coaching before. May be you need a self-awareness poke in order to coach yourself in the right way.

A simple example would be your self talk .. this is a significant part of coaching and you do it all the time!

 

Coaching as a profession emerged in the 1970s in the US, and developed significantly since then. Nowadays, coaching -with its different forms and styles- is reaching most of the globe. Great efforts are being made by international organizations (such as the International Coach Federation and similar institutions), and pioneer coaches during the past three decades (such as; Tony Robbins, Tim Gallwey, Jack Canfield, Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Brian Tracy, Wayne Dyer, and other great coaches).

 

Coaching is not just a normal professional field. It's a science-based natural practical artistic field. The best term that represents coaching in my opinion would be; "Coaching is an art & craft", and that's what I believe. Think about coaching from that angle and don't get distracted.

 

Coaching is about helping, supporting, and challenging people (individuals, groups, teams, etc), to overcome their obstacles, face their challenges, and achiebe their goals in life. It's about getting real results. It's about success. Here, we are talking about professional business and personal life. If you do some googling about coaching, you'll be surprised with its enormous applications and various types.
